In her 2019 piece Dancing in Shimmering Rain (Silver), artist Haleh Mashian pushes the boundaries of creativity by exploring a number of techniques to adorn the surface of the wooden panel support. Beginning with a backdrop infused with layers of silver, she overlays this foundation with delicate, nuanced neutrals within the raindrop motifs.
